Contact Lenses

At Hass Vision Center we prescribe the best contact lenses for you and your family using the latest technology.

Toric Lenses for Astigmatism

Astigmatism causes distorted, streaky, blurred vision.   In the past it was a challenge to fit patients with this condition with soft contact lenses. The latest generation of toric lenses have made more patients excellent candidates for contact lens wear.

Multifocal Contacts for Presbyopia

As we reach middle age our eye's ability to focus at near targets decreases. Although we can easily adapt to these changes with bifocal or progressive glasses, contact lenses can present a greater challenge.  In most cases we can fit these patients with multifocal contacts, which allow for comfortable vision at all distances. With recent advances, even patients with astigmatism can benefit from multifocal lenses.

Daily Disposable Contact Lenses

Daily disposable contact lenses are the safest and most convenient way to wear soft contacts. Using a fresh new lens every day allows for increased comfort and eliminates most opportunities for contamination.  Daily disposable lenses are an option for nearly all patients.

Scleral Lenses

Scleral Lenses represent the latest and most exciting advances in contact lens technology.  Patients with large amounts of astigmatism or conditions such as keratoconus experience blurry and distorted vision even with glasses.  Scleral lenses allow us to improve the vision of patients who were previously not fully correctable.

Scleral lenses are also valuable tools in treating severe dry eye, such as in patients with Sjogren's syndrome.
